Katherine is originally from Des Moines, Iowa where she trained under the direction of Ami Yaro. She is a graduate of the University of Utah and earned her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in ballet as a scholarship member of Utah Ballet, the school’s resident company. Throughout her training, she has studied with Pacific Northwest Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Ballet West, Nashville Ballet, BalletMet, Korean Ballet Theatre and on full scholarship with Joffrey Ballet. Katherine is currently a Principal Dancer with Ballet Vero Beach under the Direction of Adam Schnell. While at Ballet Vero Beach, she has had the honor of originating the roles of the Sugar Plum Fairy in the Nutcracker and Aurora in the Sleeping Beauty. Katherine has performed as a guest artist for Iowa Dance Theater in Des Moines as well as internationally in Dubai, UAE and Seoul, South Korea. In addition to dancing Katherine has a passion for dance education and has been involved in implementing engagement programs in both South Florida and around the Midwest.
